A selection of projects which have received Alterno’s support. If your idea or project is unlike any of these, that’s not a bad thing!

Our primary areas of interest are • HEALTH • FITNESS • NUTRITION • EDUCATION

But we do also support ideas and projects outside those areas which we perceive can have a major impact on making New Zealand a better place to live, work and play.

Partnering with Duffy Books in Homes to support Waihi Central School

Constructing a boardwalk on Motopipi Hill

Oct 20, 2016 The Alterno Foundation is pleased to again support the Rata-Tui Restoration Trust. This second grant is to assist with costs to construct a boardwalk on the latest track built last summer - 2km long “La Rambla”. Read more

Spirited Women 2017

Study Assistance: Therapeutic Repair

The Alterno Foundation is assisting them through our study assistance scheme.
